Creative Cookie Recipe Contest!!

Enter our Creative Cookie Recipe Contest!! #creativecookiecontest

Oh friends!! Have I got some fun news for you!!

My bestie, Kristan from Confessions of a Cookbook Queen and I are doing it again. We’re challenging YOU!

Sure, we’re making cookies all the live long day for our websites, but sometimes our ideas run low. And on occasion we get some fabulous ideas from you guys! Some of my most favorite recipes on my site have been ideas that you smart people have emailed me! Like THESE…And THESE!

Anyhow, realizing that we’re dealing with geniuses out there, we decided since it’s cookie season we’d let your creative flags fly…and reward you for it!!

We’ve held 2 of these contests in the past and have AMAZING entries! Here are the winners from our FIRST Contest and here are the winners from our SECOND to get an idea of what it might take to win.

This time we’re making it easy.

Only COOKIE ENTRIES! Cookies rule December and we want to see what you got…

Here are the EASY rules:

Starting, Saturday November 29th, we want you to submit a photo of your cookies and the ingredient list in a comment on either this Cookies & Cups facebook post or this Confessions of a Cookbook Queen’s facebook post. The entry post will remain at the top of our facebook pages so you can easily scope out the competition. Also make sure that your entry is on the post, not on our facebook walls (Individual posts to our wall as part of a contest are in violation of FB’s rules and we’ll have to delete them.)

We would also LOVE it if you posted a picture on your own facebook page as well as Instagram and used the hashtag #creativecookiecontest. That way everyone can easily search search your amazing recipes!!

Your recipes will be judged by Kristan and myself based on creativity/originality, visual appeal and how delicious the cookie sounds!

On December 21st we will narrow the entries down to the top three recipes that we like the most, and THEN we will open the voting up to the public! How fun is that?! You can get all your friends and family in on the action!

You can enter as many times as you would like…we know you guys have TONS of fantastic ideas!

**If you are a blogger, please feel free to post your cookie entry on your website, but the recipe MUST BE NEW! We will NOT accept recipes that aren’t dated prior to 11/19/2014. Also, please link back to cookiesandcups.com as well as confessionsofacookbookqueen.com

What You’ll Win!!

Now, onto the goods. The winner will receive a BRAND new 5 Qt Artisan Kitchen Aid Mixer in the color of your choice!! AND a 16 gb iPad Mini in White!!

So put on your thinking caps and WOW us with your deliciousness!! We are ready and can NOT wait to see whatcha got!

*Entrants must be 18 years or older and live in the US.

Was excited to enter until I read the voting rule… Voting is miserable

Hi,

This sounds like such an awesome competition! Only thing is I’m from New Zealand :(. Is there any way people out of the US can enter?

Love your website and recipes 🙂

Do we have to post our photos and ingredients in just your FB page or do we also have to post it in Confessions of a Cookbook Queen FB page? Because I see people posting them in both FB pages. Thanks.

I’m excited about this! I don’t usually enter such contests but I am inspired. Plus, I really really want an orange Kitchen Aid Mixer. 🙂 Good Luck everyone!

Are we suppose to submit just cookies and not bars or squares? Thanks!

Also was very excited about this contest until I saw that the final decision is based on votes, so basically a popularity contest, not about the actually cookie and weather its a great recipe or not. TI think its a great contest, just a little disappointing about the voting in the end.

I’m not a blogger so I don’t have regular followers and I don’t even have an instagram account, not sure how I can win this contest, but I’d like to try. Thanks.

Are you aware that the hashtag you have in this post is spelled differently than what you have on the FB post? It’s missing the “i” in cookie.

Hi Shelly, are you still on with this cookie contest? I was going to post something, I was looking for the cookie contest post in your timeline and I didn’t find it. I also didn’t see it in your photo section. Thanks.

Hi Shelly, I tried posting my photo and ingredients in the cookie contest link but somehow, it didn’t work. You may want to check it out. Thanks.

No. no no no no no. Voting is unfair. People have crooked means of bringing up their numeric values. No- if you want to judge a cookie, and if you think that cookie is interesting and that is of any benefit – take it to the kitchen and try the recipe yourself.

Got it Shelly, thanks a lot! 🙂
