Photo an Hour

Photo An Hour
lifestuff

Hey guys just popping in today with a fun little photo an hour post.

I yanked this idea from Jessica, who openly swiped it from THIS cute site

This is a day in my life..while everything isn’t typical, it gives you an idea of how I spend my hour to hour 🙂

6 AM hour…
 photo 6am_zps4355532f.jpgCoffee. Essential.

7 AM…
photo 7am_zps66f94c89.jpgPacking school lunches and backpacks.

8 AM…
photo 8am_zps6366ad9e.jpgKids go to school and I catch up on computer stuff…Pinterest, Emails, Blog reading…

9 AM…
 photo 9am_zpsbbd25683.jpgShower, make-up, hair…blah blah blah…

10 AM…
photo 10am_zps6bc16933.jpgDressed. Also, these shoes…you need a pair.

11 AM…
photo 11am_zps4c6648fe.jpgRan to the store to get my kids a report card prize. They are now into Pokemon, which makes my brain hurt.

12 PM…
photo 12pm_zps63abb162.jpgSit back down at the computer to work on the weekly Pop Culture post that we write over at That’s What We Said.

1 PM…
Lunch.
photo 1pm_zpsf4a1c0c3.jpgWhile this doesn’t look especially appetizing, it’s leftover Carnitas and Guacamole from the night before. Also, I live and die for carnitas.

2PM…
photo 2pm_zps3bc249b7.jpgHeaded up to my kid’s school…my little guy’s 2nd grade teacher is leaving to have her own little baby, so the kids threw her a baby shower and I made her a cake.

3PM…
photo 3pm_zps2b687556.jpgKids home from school. Homework and procrastination begins.

4PM…
I decided to bake a little for an upcoming project.
 photo 4pm_zps3dcf9d2a.jpgBundt cake fail.
Luckily, second time was a charm 🙂

5PM…
photo 5pm_zps5e7fcbb8.jpgUgh. Dishwasher. Second worse thing to folding socks.

6PM…
photo 6pm_zps3f983b64.jpgOut the door to kiddo’s baseball practice.

7PM…
 photo 7pm_zpsc2053a4e.jpgSweats and slippers time.

8PM…
photo 8pm_zpscb46e4d4.jpgKids in bed, light a candle and get cozy on the couch.

9PM…
photo 9pm_zps5983b2a3.jpgDamon and Pumpkin Seeds. I’m hardcore.

10PM…
photo 10pm_zpsacf0f524.jpgYes, I usually am in bed before 11:00. Wash face, read and sleep.

So there you go.

Also, let it be known that the husband was out of town the day I decided to do this. He would not have been ok with my 9:00 selection.

What were the shoes that you had on that you said everyone should own a pair of, they look sooooo….comfortable, I think I want to buy a pair. Also, all of the books that I have on my Kindle I noticed that you have also, I guess we like the same kind of books. No wonder I like your site!!!

What a coincidence! Yesterday I was making a chocolate bundt for a friend’s bday and it got stuck just like yours! 🙁

I love that you did the photo an hour post. I was inspired to do one after seeing Jessica’s too…I failed about half way through the day, so I’m planning on trying again.

Love that you’re a fan of Vampire Diaries! Did you see Sylus’s face?! Crazy stuff. It kind of reminded me of Phantom of the Opera. I can’t wait for the season finale!

What a fun post! Thanks for sharing. Totally impressed with the shower cake. I don’t even make my kids cakes for their birthdays!

Very impressive. I am having trouble even doing a photo-a-day. Photo-an-hour takes dedication 🙂

You really have a brand that is called ‘KEURIG’? That’s funny, in Dutch that actually means ‘neat’. SO I guess that’s pretty good coffee 😉 By the way, great blog! I want to try to make so many things, but a lot of products aren’t available here in Europe, and it’s just not the same with European substitutes.

I’m totally ok with your 9pm! Love this idea. Might have to try it on my own blog – although maybe on a weekend, I work an office job 9-5 so all those photos would be just ‘at my desk’, ‘still at my desk’, ‘yup still here’!

I time myself to unload the dishwasher. It makes it a little more fun. As much as it seems to be a chore, it usually only takes 4 minutes to do this task.

What a great recap of your day.
I hate it when the bundt doesn’t come clean out of the pan.
What did you do w it? Did you eat it? Can’t waste cake, right? 😉

I hope that bundt cake didn’t go to waste…cake pops/truffles? Parfaits? Cake batter ice cream mix-in? 🙂

One time I made some peanut butter swirl brownies that didn’t turn out quite right…too dry and crumbly…but I hated to waste such good ingredients. So I used the cake pop technique…crumbled them, mixed with some chocolate frosting (or Nutella) and peanut butter, and shaped them into balls/truffles and popped them in the fridge to chill. They were even better than the original idea!

Sounds like a great day! Loving these posts that I’ve been seeing–both here and on Jessica’s site. So fun to read! I might have to do one myself. It would go: 7AM: Change 2 diapers. 8AM: Change 1 diaper. 9AM: Change 2 diapers. 10AM: Change 1 diaper….

Riveting, no?
