Easy can not even describe these bars.

And simple is so over-used…by me especially…that I’m afraid you might not buy it.

But I promise ya.

These are the simplest, easiest, no brainiest bars ever to be.

There are literally 3 ingredients, no baking…only measuring. And you only have to measure 3 things, so…

PLUS, these 3 Ingredient No Bake Peanut Butter Oat Squares are kinda-sorta not even that bad for you!

Simple Peanut Butter Oat Square Recipe

I’m certainly not going to call them healthy…because there are health police out there who like to assure you that Peanut Butter from Skippy isn’t so health-ful.

But in my world, these are the perfect treat for my kids after school…full of fiber and protein, plus the honey makes them sweet and delicious.

So yeah. Try them.

See..3 ingredients…

Also, trying to get honey out of a huge container when there isn’t much left is pretty much the worst day of my life.

But I overcame.

Tips on Making No Bake Peanut Butter Oat Squares:

I heated my honey and peanut butter together so they would be smooth. You can totally do this in your microwave too.

Then just mix in the oats. Also, yes, you could use quick oats, but they are cut and smaller in size (hence why they cook faster), and I prefer the large whole oat in these. Whatever.

Kinda pretty, yes?

Then press the mixture into a lined 9×9 pan, that is sprayed lightly with cooking spray to prevent sticking…

Let the mixture set up. I popped mine in the fridge (and actually stored them there too to keep them firm). Then cut into bars!

Again, if left at room temperature they will soften a bit, so I like to keep mine chilled…but if you prefer them softer and gooier go for it!

So yep. 3 ingredients!

So simple and quick to make! I saw the comment about the old fashioned oats, so I pulsed mine a couple of times in food chopper. I heated the peanut butter and honey in the microwave. It pressed nicely into a baking dish and is now in the fridge for later. Thanks for sharing!!

I’ve made these twice and cant get the consistency as shown in the pictures, even when adding more peanut butter and honey 🙁 Next time I will try less oats. Having said that, these are delicious, and only lasted one day in my house. I smell them as soon as I open my fridge and I am constantly picking at them…Having to get my fat pants out.

It really helps to heat up the honey and peanut butter, because it helps soften and integrate the oats.

I really enjoyed this. I used natural peanut butter and I don’t think it melts the same, so I adjusted my oats to suit my tastes (it’s easy to do, no need to be rude about the measurements being different). Stir the natural well, mix with honey and I reduced my addins to 1.5 cups rolled oats and 1/4cup oat flour someone else recommended. I liked the texture instead of all oats. I also melted semi sweet chocolate chips on top for a PB cup flavor. Lovely idea, thank you

Those squares look delightful.

I just made these and they’re delicious!! I added in 2 tablespoons of flax meal and 1 tablespoon of chia seeds to mine, for extra health. Super simple and easy, and they remind me of those super chewy and dense Clif Bars, but much cheaper and fewer ingredients! I intend on eating these for breakfast, so I made 6 huge meal-sized bars. Perfect for a busy morning! Thanks!
