- 1 pound ground beef
- 1/4 pound ground pork
- 2 tablespoons milk
- 1 egg, lightly beaten
- 1/4 cup grated parmesan cheese
- 1/4 cup bread crumbs
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 teaspoons Italian seasoning
- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
Instructions
- Combine all of the ingredients in a large bowl. Mix well.
- Form the meat mixture into 1 ½-inch balls using a medium cookie scoop. Optional: chill the rolled meatballs for 15-30 minutes prior to cooking. This is a tip great for making ahead as well.
- Preheat the air fryer to 380°F.
- Place the meatballs in the air fryer basket, taking care not to crowd them together. You may need to cook in two batches.
- Cook for 10-12 minutes, rotating halfway through. The internal temperature should measure 165ºF.
- Let the meatballs rest for 5 minutes before serving or add them to your favorite sauce right away.
