Frito Snack Mix ~ A Guest Post

Hey guys!

So today I am taking up residency over at my friend Lori’s site.  You may have heard of it… Recipe Girl?  Many of her recipes have made their way to my table like this one and this one.  Seriously yum.

I decided to make my most favorite thing behind rice krispie treats…snack mix.

This one is crazy.  There are Fritos involved.  Sugar coated Fritos.

Before you judge me, hop over and check it out…it’s pretty stinking delicious.

Don’t leave me hanging here people, go now!!

  1. There is nothing strange about sugar coated Fritos, I don’t need any convincing. As soon as I saw this recipe I knew I’d be making it today. I went out and grabbed the ingredients and I cannot stop eating it. Awesome!

This looks so delicious. I love to mix my snacks and think this is going to be my snack mix for a long time now.

    Thanks for sharing.

Crunchy! I love pretzels. Which of the stuff inside do you munch the most? Thanks for sharing this delightful snack pack!

  4. Haha you’re so funny. I never thought to check the stalls in a restroom before. Now I’m going to be creeped out! I really like this cake. I bet it gives you energy, too. 🙂

I am now obsessed with your yummy sweet blog. I just found you yesterday and have printed a dozen or more recipes (while at work…wink wink). I must confess, I am NOT a baker nor a cook by any means. But I have a 4 year old little girl whose sweet tooth (might I dare say…) may be more powerful than mine. Any how, she & I recently discovered that making rolled sugar cookies is quite daunting…there is just not a enough counter space, time in the day or patience to be practiced. Probably why I’m not a baker. We did have fun tho. You have blogged, without “really” bragging so in your witty posts, that there ARE super easy, super fun, super kid friendly recipes that a Mommy (like me) & her girl (like her mommy) can do together. I’m gonna pledge that she & I spend more time in the kitchen creating good times and yummy treats…. She can go to the park with Dad 🙂 I’ll give him that. Thank you!!!!

BTW….this recipes reminds me of one I make with Chex (of course), Bugels, Goldfish (plain ones) and whole pecans……. yummmmm
