So…I should NOT have gone to that page! (Not good for the holiday weight gain issue!) All those cookies look SO amazing! I think I’m going to have to start with Salted Caramel Macaroons and Italian Lemon Drop Cookies. Yum!

  2. Stephanie

What a great idea — my friend and I have been talking about doing a cookie swap party for ages! Hopefully this is the year we’ll get our act together and make it happen! 🙂 In any case, I love the chocolate crackled cookies and will have to try them out!!

  3. Jodi Pavlik

Peanut Butter and Jelly Sandwich Surprises look like an awesome cookie! I think my hubby would love these and I would love to show them off at a cookie swap party!

  4. Yazmin Santa Ana

For my Cookie Swap/Party I would make two cookies from the show stopper section. I would make the Jam and Hazelnut cookies, as well as the Caramel Pecan Turtle Cookies. Actually all the cookies look amazing I’d love to bake them all.

  5. Melissa D

I would probably try most of them! 🙂

Definitely the sugar cookies – I’m not very good at drawing, but am pretty good with frosting.

And the peanut butter and jelly surprise sandwish cookies look fun (and yummy) too.

  6. Eva

I have a holiday cookie exchange every year, and I am so excited about this site! There are so many cookies I want to try, but the fudge filled peanut butter ones look amazing!

  7. Lauren

I would have to make the molasses cookies… My Grandmother loved them sooooo much. She passed away right before Christmas last year. Needless to say we didn’t have much of a Christmas last year. Every year we would all go to her house for brunch and presents. This year I am going to start hosting it… I hope I make her proud…

  8. julie westberry

Although it was a hard choice, I would make the itilian lemon drop cookies.. or the magic cookie bars.. or … such decisions!

  9. Jamie

I am definitely making the chocolate caramel pecan turtle cookies! And the peppermint dipped chocolate cookies! And maybe a few others too–they all look amazing!

  10. Angeline

I would make so many of those cookies!! Right now though I am craving PB and Chocolate so I will be making Peanut Butter Brownie Cookies oon!! I love to have cookie parties at Christmas time and share recipes. In the past we have even added ornaments to the trading 🙂

  11. Morgan

Harvest Apple Streusal Squares!! Yummy, a nice twist on a cookie exchange and you can justify that it has apples in it, hello, healthy!!

  12. Mary Lynn

I love Lemon….so I will make The Italian Lemon Drop Cookies. This is the first year I am involved in a cookie exchange and I need all the help I can get.

  13. Carina Furia

mexican wedding cookies are my ulitmate favorite! I would make these not only because they are my favorite but they look super simple!! Thank you for putting together this blog! Can’t wait to get started on planning my cookie exchange party!

  14. Awesome giveaway! I’m actually planning to host my first cookie party this year. I think I’d make the chocolate caramel thumbprints or the fudge filled peanut butter cookies. Or maybe both 🙂

  15. I host a cookie party every year and get a mix of quirky and traditional cookies from my guests! I’d choose the Classic Molasses Cookies because I like the classics, and there is nothing quite like a good molasses cookie!

  16. Hurray for cookie parties! I have hosted a few and look forward to hosting another one this year.
I would love to make the caramel thumbprint cookies

  17. Cassie

The cranberry cashew chocolate chip cookies sound amazing! Now I am going to have to stop at the store on my way home from work because my mind is swirling with lovely thoughts of cookies now!

  18. Gail Cooper

I probably would make the cut out sugar cookies. I try to do these during the holidays every year. I love to do it with my granddaughters so they can do the decorating. It’s a fun way to get everyone together.

  19. Tara Hester

I am having my annual cookie exchange on 12/8…Shelly, wish you could come!!!!
I want to make those beautiful classic sugar cookies (mine never turn out though. I’m no quitter, so I will try again) and I love the chocolate crackle cookies! I can’t wait for my party again this year! always a great time and a great way to really kick off baking season!

  20. Lindsay S

Definitely the peanut butter and jelly ones. As much as people may think they are over peanut butter and jelly as adults, they always come back for seconds (and thirds) when I make pb&j cookies.

  21. Jenn

I made the Chocolate caramel thumbprint cookies last year and they were a huge success in the office. This year I would try the salted chocolate macaroons! They look delicious! I also love the homemade cookie mix in a jar idea.

  22. kristie belding

We are strawberry lovers so the Strawberry Angel Cookies are a definite YES! Looking for those pumpkin pie cookies I saw a moment ago! YUMMY!!!!

  23. ColleenB.

Wonderful giveaway. Thank you for this opportunity
I would eventually probably make them all but #1 choice would be the Cherry Magic Cookie Bars

  24. Nicole

I am a chocoholic, so anything with chocolate goes, but the Black Forest cookies looked intriguing! Of course crackle cookies are always good and anything with the chocolate mint comob!

  25. Kim Lee

Oh my gosh! Very hard to choose just one. But if I had to, I would probably try the Chocolate Crackled Cookies–first. 😉 Thanks!

  26. Anne

I plan to make the Chewy Red Raspberry Bars, soon! They look pretty, and I have all the ingredients in my pantry, so putting them together should be simple. Thanks for pointing me at that website.

  27. Linda

I would make the Easy Peanut Butter Cookies …..This is my husbands favorite and I never made cookies with buiscut mix before sounds like it would be amazing!!

  28. Jane K

The Black Forest Oatmeal Cookies – – they look classic and great with a glass of milk! And I’m making them for my husband – – Oatmeal Raisin is his fav so I may have to throw some raisins in … he lost his sweet Daddy last month so I want to make him feel extra special over the holidays. Thank you!!!

  29. Jenny B.

I’d like to try the caramel pecan turtle cookies. My DH loves pecan turtles so I know he would love for me to learn how to make them.

  30. Kathi Spence

I actually hosting a Cookie Swap this Thursday. Was just talking to a fellow co-worker saying I had several recipes I was considering but I think I have found ‘ THE ONE’ in the Italian Lemon Drop Cookie on the website. So love this time of year 🙂 Thanks for the opportunity to be a part of the giveaway.

  31. Those Chocolate Caramel Thumbprint Cookies are calling my name for sure. =o] I’ve never done a cookie party, but my mom has. I’d love to start one with her!

  32. jennie

I would go with Red Velvet Pinwheel from the show stoppers. If I am the host, I would really want to impress my guests. This will be my 4th year of hosting a cookie exchange. I love it. My daughter in law has been looking all summer for a recipe, i am forwarding your post so she has even more inspiration.

we are without power, except at work. thanks for a welcome distraction, thinking about the holidays and baking. Can’t wait.

  33. Nonna Bobbi

Definitely the Italian Lemon Drop Cookies for a cookie exchange. But, they look so easy, that I think I’ll try the Super Simple Cranberry Sugar Cookies this weekend. My grandkids will have fun whipping those together!

  34. Oh gosh, it’s so hard to choose just one!!! I’d definitely make the Shortbread Jamwiches with Smuckers Strawberry Jam! Or Grandpa Would Have Loved These Cookies! Can’t beat cookies full of “chips!” Thanks for the post – love cookie exchanges!

  35. Donna Ingalls

Oh my gosh, all the recipes look Devine. . My mixer will be working overtime this holiday season. The recipe for the Chocolate Caramel Thumbprints are what I will use for my cookie party. Yummy!

  36. Mishelle

I’d love to make the Fudge Filled Irresistible P’Butter ones – if I made the mint ones that look so good there I’d be the only one eating them and THAT wouldn’t be good. My kids and I love ‘pbutter and chocolate so I’d go with those.

  37. What kind of friend are you that sends us to go to a site like that? While we’re at work with absolutely no access to an oven with which to bake with??

Instead, we are left to drool over the cookies, my particular favorite being Peanut Butter Brownie Cookie. It’s a buckeye but in brownie form… or cookie form… which is it? I don’t care – all I know it looks goooooooood!!!

  38. Joan

Fer sure ….. Caramel Apricot Thumbprint Cookies. We love the regular thumbprint cookes, but the addition of the caramel puts them over the top.

  39. angie walljasper

Choclate crinkles! Yummy! We always have a huge cookie exchange with my aunts, sisters, cousins. We change it every year but always exchange cookies and candy!

  40. You should put up a warning on those cookie pages NOT to open when hungry. All the cookies look delicious! I already make several of the varieties that are shown, but (one I have not made) if I were going on my taste alone, I would pick the Almond Tea Cookies. They sound like they would be perfect with a hot cup of coffee! 🙂

  41. The Chocolate Carmel thumbprints and more! My granddaughter is getting married May 2013, and she is having a dessert table. I’ll be pre-testing some of these cookies! Thanks…Dee

  42. Tabitha

I’ve never participated in a cookie exchange but would love to. I really enjoy making various baked goods and treats around the holidays so I was glad to see this post. Everything looks so delicious on the website, but I would definitely have to go with the Strawberry Angel Cookies. They are a fun pink color and something a little bit different/out of the ordinary. They also seem to be simple to make. Can’t wait to try out the recipe!

  43. Nikki Spencer

I am not sure that I could choose just one I am equally in love with the brown sugar cookies and the cranberry walnut oatmael cookies!!!

  44. Naomi

Definitely either the Fudge Filled Irresistible Peanut Butter Cookies, or the Chocolate Mint Brownie Cookies! Which to choose is the problem though. I’d just have to make both! Yum!!!!

  45. I would do the Coco-Scotch Delights using Gluten-Free brownie mix so my husband can enjoy these too. I love recipees that let you use boxed mixes – but include a lot of add-ins so you can claim the “home made” label.

I’d love to host a cookie party!

  46. Maureen

WOW you weren’t kidding they have a great selection. There are many I would like but the Fudge-Filled Irresistible Peanut Butter Cookies caught my eye because I know my husband would go crazy for these.

  47. Peggy

Hi – OMG this is a perfect combinations of products (chocolate anything!!!) and recipes!!! I would love to win this grouping because I am starting a Family Tradition of the first weekend in December, having all 4 of my Grand Children ( from 10 yrs old, 7 yrs old, 5 yrs. old & 2yrs old) over to make holiday cookies and then share them with family and friends! What a wonderful memory maker!

  48. Marcia

Great site! I would like to make the Italian Lemon Drop cookies and the Red Velvet Pinwheel Sandwich cookies-yum! I am going to a cookie exchange in two weeks. I also love White Lilly Flour which is also a Smuckers company.

  49. Amanda Liebig

Your post has actually inspired me to host a cookie exchange. Most of us are already making cookies anyways, so why not share with others, and get some great recipes and cookies as a bonus!

I want to try the black forest oatmeal cookies, and the Italian lemon drop cookies as well. They look sooo good!!!

I also want to thank you for your amazing blog. Notonly do you share great recipes with us, but you make me laugh. I can’t wait to open your email every afternoon!! Thank you!!!

  50. Allie H

i would definitely want to make the peanut butter and chocolate chip cookies. two of my favorites ingredients combined into one! yummy (:

  51. I will definitely be making more than one of their recipes, but I think the first one I will do will be the Swedish Almond Spritz cookies from the Showstoppers section. They look adorable and I can’t wait to taste them.

Thanks so much for the chance to win and for the link to these great recipes!!

    Snoopy 😀

  52. Vanessa

Caramel apricot thumbprint cookies, since it didn’t occur to me to put caramel in there. I would use an apple jam though, hoping it tastes like a caramel apple!

  53. I remember loving thumbprint cookies when I was a child. The lady who made them is no longer with us, so I can’t get her recipe. I’d like to try Classic Thumbprint Cookies.

  54. Betsy

Tinking we’ll get th grandkids together and make a batch of Peanut butter Fudgy Bars. but that’s just for starters. The recipes look awesome! I always bake several kinds of cookies for my in-laws to have on hand at Christmas. My mother-in-law always made the Mexican Wedding cookies, so that will be next. She’s 92 now and while she can’t bake any more, she still enjoys the cookies.

  55. Jillian Locke

Fudge-Filled Irresistible Peanut Butter Cookies – because THOSE were the first cookies I saw and wanted to annhiliate in the picture above! HOLY get in ma bellay!

  56. So many cookies!!!!
The first cookie to catch my eye and my ‘heart’ was the ‘Chocolate Caramel Thumbprint Cookies’. The caramel addition to the thumbprint is very different and reminded my of my grandmother who ‘loved’ any with caramel and even taught me how to make caramels!
Can’t wait to make these and share with friends and family.

  57. Emily T

Oh man there’s about seven different ones I’d love to try, but I think my favorites are the Chocolate Caramel Thumbprint cookies and the Cranberry Cashew Chocolate Chip!!!! My co-workers are going to be pretty happy over the next couple of weeks.

  58. Ashley P

Well, I would start with the fudge-filled peanut butter cookies, then I’d move on to the peppermint dipped chocolate cookies, then I’d try the chocolate caramel thumbprint cookies. Can you tell I love cookies??

  59. Katy Judy

I would try the Linzer Tarts~ I have always wanted to make these and have just never got around to them. I have a box of the chocolate peppermint in the pantry and think I will make those to add to my Christmas collection.

  60. Danielle Goewert

I would love to make the Peanut Butter Fudgy Bars!! They look so good. The Chewy Brownie Cookies look amazing too. Not sure where to start:)

  61. Tanya K. Moyer

Wow!! What a great cookie resource!! I am going to pin this site to my pinterest “cookie” board. All those great cookie recipes on one site!! I definitely want to try the Cherry Magic Cookie Bars…those look fabulous!! Thanks for the giveaway! 🙂

  62. Tracy

Ok, torn between the Chocolate Peanut Butter Brownie Cookies or the Frosted Sugar Cookies. Everything you make/recommend is delicious, so I’m sure I’ll end up making those two, and probably a half dozen more!

  63. Amanda

I definitely need to try the chocolate caramel thumbprint cookies. Oh my gosh, they look delicious and are so pretty too!!! Yum…it is too late for me to be browsing cookie recipes 🙂 Thanks!

  64. Theresa Forster

This will be my first cookie swap at my new job, so great timing for this post as I’m trying to decide what to bake. I will definitely be making the Chocolate caramel thumbprint cookies (and to add a final touch I will sprinkle a bit of salt on top)

  65. Leanna R

Oh my. New website to explore. I think I would make Red Velvet Pinwheel Sandwich Cookies
The look very festive for the holidays.

  66. Erin

Wow so many great recipes! I’m sure I will try more than one! But will definitely be making the snowball cookies! Thanks for sharing the website and so many wonderful recipes!

  67. Susan

Always host both a cookie and candy make and take every December.. the first cookie to be made this year will be the chocolate caramel thumbprint cookies, except make and takes will have to be the end of November because due for surgery on Nov. 30.

  68. Lesley

I like the chocolate caramel thumbprints and jam and hazelnut cookies. I think Christmas cookies should be extra special and something you don’t make the rest of of the year, and these both meet that criteria! 🙂

  69. Courtney

I would make their sugar cookie recipe. 🙂 It looks easy and I don’t usually make cookies that require frosting but it looks tasty!

  70. Brenda J. Moore

I love your recipe for Blondies – I add to the mix white choco chips, chopped apricots and pecans, and swirl a little of the white chocolate melted on top after baking.
I made a couple of batches of double chocolate too, which won lots of approval here from my kids and friends.
I have a recipe file filled with your various recipes and would LOVE a chance to win this basket.
Of note: not quite sure how you stay slim and healthy !
    Cheers from Oshawa Ontario.

  71. robin

I love lemon anything so I’d choose to start with the lemon drop cookies. I have a cookie swap every December with a group of girls and we chat and eat and play games. It’s such a great time! Happy Holidays!

  72. Emmy

I think that the Red Velvet Pinwheel Sandwich Cookies look amazing! They would be something different and add something fun to the normal holiday cookie trays! And of course you can’t go wrong with the Classic Sugar Cookie.

  73. Carrie

My friends and I are always looking for new party get together ideas, and when I brought up the idea of cookie party, they were SUPER EXCITED! I looked through the website (terrible mistake!) and they all look amazing. But I think I’d definitely start with the red velvet pinwheels and then the peppermint dipped chocolate cookies because they just look so Christmasy! All of the jam filled ones are a must do as well, I’m definitely a fan of fruity desserts instead of chocolate overload.

  74. Kathy Chips

So many choices, so little time! I would love to try the Salted Caramel Macaroons and the Fudge Raspberry Thumbprint cookies, but they all look so yummy!

  75. Ashley

I can’t wait to try the Brown Sugar cookies! I love brown sugar and sugar cookies, can’t believe I never thought of them before! : )

  76. Marilyn M.

Definately the salted caramel macaroons! Great giveaway thanks! Hope you get your power back soon. Sandy took it from us for 7 days! Your spirit is amazing 🙂

  77. Kayla Rodgers

I am pregnant so it was difficult to choose just one! lol. I love the “Peanut Butter & Chocolate Chip Cookies” & “Peanut Butter & Jelly Cookies” 🙂

  78. Jama

It was so hard to choose just one recipe! I think I’ll be baking several from the site but I will start with the Fudge-filled Irresistible Peanut Butter Cookies!

  79. Billie Jo

I will definitely be making the pumpkin and cream cheese cookies. I have just discovered the wonderfulness of anything pumpkin flavored (at least in bread, muffin and cookie form) but have yet to try making any on my own. What better way to start than by winning this contest?!?!

  80. Caroline

Wait this is amazing! I always bake holiday cookies with my friends but some of those recipes…oh my! the cookies and cream fudge as well as the harvest apple streusel squares look AMAZING!

  81. Lisa

I would make the Caramel Pecan Turtle Cookies! Caramel…yum. Pecans…yum. Chocolate…yum. Cookies…yum. Put them all together…YYYUUUUUUMMMMMM!!

  82. Theresa Smith

I have always wanted to be a part of a cookie party/swap. My favorite cookie is the thumbprint cookies, but my two daughter’s favorite is my mother-in-law’s Vienna crescent cookies. Once I started making them, they became my mom’s favorite too.

  83. Charity S

Coffee Chip Drops! Two of my favorite things mixed together – coffee and chocolate! These will make for a great cookie exchange party!

  84. The Red Raspberry Bars look awesome! Thumbprints just can’t be beat though….apricot or raspberry.

An awesome giveaway ~ thanks so much for the opportunity to win!

  85. Kathy

I LOVE baking cookies!! Each and every one of those cookies looks FABULOUS!! I would DEFINITELY like to make the “Harvest Apple Streusel Squares”! I’ve never been a part of a cookie swap before, but would DEFINITELY love to!
