Peanut Butter Cup Blondies – A Guest Post

Hoping to entice you with the picture of these delicious, buttery, white chocolaty, peanut butter cup blondies.

    any tips for how to make them not so gooey in the center—i baked them just as you said but they were incredibly gooey–certainly less than ‘not fully cooked through the center’ as you instructed…! i want to try again since I’m not sure what went wrong!

      Well, honestly baking times vary oven to oven, so I would say add another 5 minutes or so if they were completely undercooked. My test for blondies and brownies is to enter a toothpick about 2 inches from the edge…and when that comes out clean they are done. I do prefer them slightly undercooked, but it sounds like yours were more than just “slightly”.

    Just made these today and mine were done 2 inches from edge but way too gooey in middle, more like the batter I started with. My oven is old and jacked up so what I think I’ll do next time is use a bigger pan, like an 11 by 7 or maybe 9 by 13 and that will make them thin enough to set more in the center. They did taste delicious though!
