What is Blueberry Cobbler?

Make the Fruit Filling

Combine the blueberries, sugar, flour, and lemon zest in a large bowl and set aside.

Make the Topping

Whisk together flour, salt, sugar, and baking powder. Cut in cold butter using a pastry cutter or food processor.

Add the Cream

Pour in the cream and mix until it becomes a thick dough/batter.

Assemble the Cobbler

Spread blueberries into the bottom of a 2-quart baking dish and drop flattened scoops of the dough on top.

Add Course Sugar

Sprinkle some coarse sugar on top of the dough. This makes the top of your cobbler crunchy and golden.


Bake at 375°F until golden brown and crisp on top, and the berries are bubbly.

Let Cool
