What Is Caesar Pasta?

This easy recipe is made with al dente pasta tossed in a rich and creamy parmesan and lemon sauce with garlic and anchovies, topped with garlicky toasted breadcrumbs.

Simple Ingredients

You only need a few simple ingredients to make this easy recipe, so let's round them up and get started!

Toast the Breadcrumbs

Add breadcrumbs to melted butter in a saucepan. Season with garlic powder and brown them over medium heat.

Make the Sauce

Cook pasta according to the package directions. Then whisk together parmesan, lemon juice, Dijon, and egg.

Sauté the Garlic

In a skillet, sauté the garlic, anchovies, chili flakes and a few cracks of black pepper.

Cook the Sauce

Combine everything in the skillet, followed by 1 cup of pasta water, then allow the sauce to cook until thickened

Combine with Pasta

Tansfer the cooked pasta to the sauce and toss to coat.

Serve

Sprinkle over the breadcrumbs, fresh parsley, and parmesan just before serving, and enjoy!
