Easy Orange Chicken

Why is it better than takeout? Fresh ingredients and spices make for a flavorful, healthy meal!  And, you can customize the spicy-sweet orange sauce to your taste.

What You'll Need

- Chicken - Egg - Olive Oil, Vegetable Oil - Breading Mix - Orange Juice - Soy Sauce & Sesame Oil - Sugar - Vinegar - Water - Cornstarch

1. Bread the chicken pieces by dipping in the egg mixture, then shaking in a bag of breading to coat evenly.  Set aside on a plate.

2. Heat the oil in a Dutch oven, and fry the chicken for 3-4 minutes per batch.  Remove from the oil and keep warm in the oven.

3. Whisk together the sauce ingredients in a saucepan and bring to a boil. Thicken with cornstarch and remove from heat.

4. Remove chicken from the oven, place in a large bowl, and add orange sauce.  Gently toss to coat each piece.

ENJOY! Garnish with green onions and serve over a bed of white rice.  Make the meal complete with a simple side of steamed veggies!
