What is a Mississippi Pot Roast?

Mississippi Pot Roast is deliciously saucy, and so easy to make! It is smothered in zesty ranch mix and savory gravy, plus has a sweet, mild heat of pepperoncini chili peppers.

Cut the Beef

First, cut your chuck roast into about 3 to 4 equal size pieces. 

Brown the Beef

Next, set the Instant Pot to sauté and brown the beef pieces, about 5 minutes each side. 

Add the Broth

Next, pour in the beef broth and using a spatula, scrape the bottom of the pot to lift the flavorful, stuck-on bits.

Assemble

Next, add the dressing and gravy mixes, butter, and pepperoncini. 

Cook

Next, seal the lid and cook on high in the Instant Pot. Once it's done cooking, shred the meat using two forks.

Serve

Transfer the shredded beef back to the Instant Pot and stir it into the sauce. Now it's ready to serve. Dig in!
