The Best Bruschetta Recipe

What is Bruschetta? Bruschetta is an Italian antipasto dish.  It is a simple mixture of fresh diced tomatoes and herbs, served on slices of toasted garlic bread.  It's a perfect summer appetizer!

What You'll Need

- Garlic - Olive Oil - Parmesan Cheese - Tomatoes - Fresh Basil - Balsamic Vinegar - Crushed Red Pepper - Bread - Salt & Pepper - Garlic Powder

1. Combine the tomatoes with garlic, olive oil, parmesan, basil, vinegar, and seasonings.  Cover and chill.

2. Slice the baguette into 1/2-inch pieces.  Combine olive oil, salt, pepper, and garlic powder then brush it on both sides of each slice.

3. Toast the bread slices in the oven for about 6 minutes, flipping halfway through.

4. Spoon the tomato mixture onto cooled toasts, and sprinkle with more parmesan, if desired.
