Description

Make the crispiest pub-style chicken wings in the air fryer! This method is quick, mess-free, and easy to customize. Sauce and season your homemade wings anyway you’d like.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 1/2 pounds chicken wings
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 3/4 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • Olive oil spray

Instructions

  1. Remove the chicken wings from the package and pat them dry with a paper towel.
  2. Place the wings inside a large ziploc bag. Add the spices. Seal the bag and shake it to coat the chicken wings.
  3. Preheat the air fryer to 400ºF.
  4. Place the wings in the basket of the air fryer, leaving some space between. You may need to work in batches.
  5. Spray them with olive oil spray.
  6. Cook for 18-20 minutes or until the internal temperature reaches 165ºF. Turn halfway through cooking time.
  7. Allow the chicken wings to rest for 5 minutes before adding sauce or serving.

Notes

  • Add a sauce: If you want to sauce the wings, add the cooked wings to a large bowl and pour warmed sauce of choice over them. Toss to coat the wings. Transfer to a serving plate.
