Description

Candied toffee peanuts are the ultimate sweet and salty snack. Perfect for gifting, serving on a charcuterie board, or snacking, this easy recipe is sure to be a favorite. 


Ingredients

  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 6 tablespoons salted butter
  • 1/4 + 2 tablespoons light corn syrup
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons kosher salt
  • 3 cups salted dry roasted peanuts

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 300°F. Line a 15x10x1- inch nonstick baking sheet with parchment paper. Set aside.
  2. In a large bowl, combine the sugar, butter, corn syrup, cinnamon, and salt. Add the peanuts and stir to coat evenly. 
  3. Spread the peanuts onto the prepared baking sheet. Bake for 30 minutes, until the mixture is bubbly and lightly golden, stirring nuts every 10 minutes.
  4. Remove the pan from the oven, sprinkle on more salt if desired and allow the nuts to cool completely.
  5. Once cooled, break the nuts apart.

Notes

Store in an airtight container for up to 2 weeks. Freeze in an airtight container for up to 2 months.
