These Cookie Sticks are a fantastically easy way to make a quick batch of cookies! Plus, they are perfect for dunking into milk or a milk alternative!

What makes you happy these days?
It’s Spring today, which makes me happy, even though it comes hand in hand with allergy season.
A good manicure makes me pretty happy especially if glitter polish is involved.
A clean house (if even for a moment) makes me exponentially happy.
The Bachelor has finally ended which makes me all sorts of happy, but a little sad at the same time. But The Bachelorette will be starting soon, so….happy again!
Easter’s almost here which makes me happy because that means I can unabashedly decorate the house in pastel colors and not feel like I live inside an episode of The Golden Girls.
And of course cookies make me happy.
Of course.
And these Cookie Sticks make me even happier because I didn’t even have to use my mixer. Just a bowl and a spoon. Happy sigh.

How to Make These Easy Cookie Bars
Mix your wet ingredients together first. Yes, sugar is a wet ingredient, don’t ask.

Add your dry stuff and split it half…

Spread it out in two long rectangles on your lined baking sheet.
I found these yummies at the store last week…White Chocolate M&Ms.

I decided to give them a try here..
Press the M&Ms (or chocolate chips) on top before you bake.
Here’s the before and after…

Let them cool a bit and using a pizza cutter or knife cut into strips.

And that’s it…
Let them cool completely before eating, if you can wait!

I made these tonight with my daughter (who’s 6). They were so quick & easy…and fun! She loved mixing by hand and pressing in the candy. We used the M&M’s speckled eggs since we couldn’t find the white chocolate M&M’s. Delicious!
I made these Saturday because they looked so easy and pretty. They didn’t disappoint. I personally loved the white chocolate M&M’s. They were a nice change to just regular M&M’s. I shared them with our sweet elderly neighbors and they just loved them. My little ones adored them and were a nice surprise in their lunch boxes today. Sadly, they’re all gone now. Thanks for another fun, easy and delicious recipe!
You have a pretty good happy list going on…these cookies would make me happy too!
Another yummy reason to use M&M’s that makes me happy! thank you
My daughter and I made these today! Delicious!
My 9 year old daughter needed a cookie recipe for her Girl Scout project, and when I found this, I knew it would be perfect! It took her all of 10 minutes to make these completely by herself! Thanks for making my job easier 🙂
yay!! that makes me so happy 🙂
What an awesome idea! These little cookie sticks would be great for a party, or for little kids. Love this idea!
These festive cookie sticks make me very happy too!! Beautiful 🙂
They are really creative and yummy 🙂
Can I replace the canola oil with butter?
I wouldn’t in this recipe…the butter would definitely bake differently than the oil and the butter would crisp these up a lot on the outside.
I always use all butter to make regular chocolate chip cookies, but these are a bit different 🙂
