Avalanche Bars Are Easy No Bake Bars!
Avalanche Bars are one of my favorite and most popular treats here on my website. I made them back in 2010, not too long after I started this website, and they quickly became one of the most loved recipes on Cookies and Cups! I even made an Avalanche Cookie a few years back that was equally as loved. I have updated the pictures so they are a little more pretty, but equally as delicious!
White Chocolate and Peanut Butter Are a Delicious Combination!
Avalanche Bars are this deliciously addictive treat was introduced to me at a place called The Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory. Ever been there? They have shelves and shelves of delicious looking candy apples and homemade fudge that I would always be THIS close to buying…but being a bit of a cheapskate I always went for one of the least expensive thing there…the Avalanche Bar.
At like, $3.50 it was still overpriced, but oh so worth it. A strange but wonderful combination of white chocolate, peanut butter and marshmallow it is like rice krispie treat on steroids!

Clearly I knew I needed to learn to make these at home… and it turns out they are easy peasy!
AND I made a quick little video to show you JUST how easy…
I make these ALL the time, and I am sure you will too! They are an easy, classic treat!

These were awesome and thanks to gluten free rice crispies everyone at My LifeGroup could enjoy them, so thanks! Gonna try the puppy chow crispies with the leftover rice crispies next time around.
These are AWESOME! I just made them, RIGHT NOW, and they came out great. I can’t believe how easily they come together and how yummy they are! Thank you so much for this recipe, I will be making these again for sure!
Just made these bars and they are as easy to make as they sound and they are just as good as they look. Will be adding these to my collection of pot-luck desserts, as well as our Christmas Goodies List. Thank you for sharing 🙂
I’m moving from Texas to Wyoming next Feb. Yes, for love! It’ll be hard to leave Texas but, I’m happy to do it for my honey!
Can’t wait to try this, they would be good with other flavor chips too! (Like peanut butter chips!)
Hi there! I could have sworn I’ve been to this website before but after browsing through some of the post I realized it’s new to me. Nonetheless, I’m definitely delighted I found it and I’ll be book-marking and checking back frequently!
Well, glad you found me again!!
I made these last night and they were easier to make than I presumed. This morning I easily cut and tasted. Before you keep reading, I must say, rarely is anything EVER to sweet for me. These bars are too sweet. One easy thing I thought for next time is add more rice krispies. This being said, I know they will still be a hit at my family BBQ today.
I HAD to pin this to the BHG blogger fav board we’re on together – they look TOTALLY divine! xo
Thanks!! I wrote that post so long ago and am embarrassed about the pictures, but it’s one of my most popular 🙂
I’m going to try these with almond butter for my peanut-allergic son. Hope they’re as good as they look with PB!
