I made these 2 Ingredient Jello Yogurt Bites. In basically 5 minutes.  I promise you. I even made this little video to show you how I did it! I used Strawberry Jello in the video, but you can use any flavor you like!

They are the funnest.

A while back I got this amazing box full of yogurt.  Since then I have had so much fun playing with yogurt in recipes…

Chobani yogurts stacked on top of each other

And honestly since yogurt is one of our favorite snacks here, I thought making something yogurt-ish that we could grab and eat with our hands would be extra fun.

We’re all about hand-eating over here.

Enter these 2 Ingredient Jello Yogurt Bites. I made mine “Creamsicle” flavored using vanilla yogurt and orange jello! They’re so simple, and totally yummy.  Plus you could mix and match the flavors to make everyone happy…AND they’re loaded with protein from the yogurt and fat free!

I mean, that is unless you top them with whipped cream, which I did.  And also a piece of candy….guilty again.

How to Make Yogurt Bites

Jello and yogurt

Grab some yogurt and a pack of Jello.

Sugar being added to a mixing bowl
A bowl filled with orange jello yogurt mixture

Mix 1 1/2 cups of vanilla yogurt with one pack of Jello.
Stir that together and then microwave it for 2 minutes, stirring after each minute…you want to dissolve the sugar.
Then scoop the mixture into cupcake liners…
You could also use mini cupcake liners for bite-sized treats!

Chill that for at least an hour and then you’re done.
Honestly, that’s it.

If you are feeling fancy top with a little whipped cream or Cool Whip.
And of course candy…

I jus made the orange cups – used ff, sf, Greek yogurt and sf orange Jell-O. I added a tsp. of vanilla and a packet of Sweet & Lo to the Jell-O. I mixed the ingredients and put it in the microwave for about 1 minute and 30 seconds, stirring halfway through. It came out great and is not grainy at all. Love this recipe!

  2. Yum! I made these exactly as the recipe stated, except I doubled them. I used sugar free orange Jello and Dannon light and fit vanilla Greek yogurt. I put half in regular sized muffin pans, and half in mini muffins. I prefer the mini. They are delicious. We are taking these, in orange and raspberry, to our church picnic next weekend.

    1. I don’t think freezing them would work well, as yogurt tends to get a bit grainy. But if you do try, let me know how it works!

  3. Hello!
I am intrigued by your delicious Orange Creamsicle Bites! Would I be able to use them for womansday.com latest slideshow featuring simple summer desserts that have gotten a new twist? I think our readers would really appreciate this recipe (a link to your sites exact recipe will be posted next to the image!) especially with the warm weather the corner. If you are interested please let me know ASAP! Also, please send over the largest possible sized image you have of these treats.

    Thanks so much!

    Best,
    Kim

  4. I made these with great value che4ry yogurt and sugar free cherry jello. They were relish!!! Will definitely try other flavors.

  5. This sounds so fun and delicious, I know my kiddos will love them! I have a couple questions for those who have made these, how would they be as a frozen summer treat? Are they super sweet tasting? Would plain Greek yogurt with a teaspoon of vanilla and regular orange jello help cut some of the sweetness out(I’d prefer not to have artificial sweetener in treats for the kids, do they make stevia sweetened jello)? Thanks so much for the fun recipe, and thanks ahead of time to any answers!

  6. Shelly,

I’ve got my first batch in the fridge; they’ve been in just over an hour and they’re firm but no where close enough to being “set” that I’ll be able to pull the muffin cups off. Suggestions?

Also, I made a double batch (large box of Jello, 3 cups of vanilla Greek yogurt & microwaved for 4 minutes instead of 2, stirring after every minute) which yielded 14 full cups of very creamy & very sweet orangey-vanilla yumminess! {I can’t help but wonder if those experiencing grittiness are not microwaving long enough for the crystals to ‘melt’????} At this point my only concern is will they ever set enough to take them out of the muffin cups as shown in your photos?????

I need these for Easter on Sunday, so it sure would help to get your input asap. Thanks tons!!

    1. Sounds like since you had to microwave them a bit longer they were probably hotter than mine going into the fridge, would explain why they are taking longer to set up. I am sure they will be fine in another hour or so!

      1. Thanks again, Shelly. After about 2.5-3 hours I tested one of the first batch and, first off, YUMMO; secondly, I think my expectation of the level of ‘hardness’ was way off. In your photos, the muffin cups look totally clean [like when you unwrap a Reese’s cup] & your ridges are just so perfectly defined, that I assumed these would be super firm [again, like a Reese’s cup]. After dipping the spoon into that creamy, orangey goodness, I realized that I was wrong to expect them to be hard.

All is fine. They taste deeelish and are pretty to boot, so if any of the weirdos in my family don’t fall in love with them, then that’s just more for me!! (Also, I’m making a batch of grape but I’m going to put it in a pretty pie pan instead of the cups so it’ll be easier to transport. Mmmmmm….can’t wait!)

Thanks again, and I wish you & yours a lovely holiday weekend!
