The fall is upon us which means I did this…
Seriously Bath and Body Works fall candles are my kryptonite. Annnd they basically all smell like food. What is WRONG with me?
And I’m equally obsessed with this Salted Caramel Hazelnut Spread from Jif. Which now I’m thinking needs it’s own candle. Ugh.
I’m piling it high on my ice cream.. and also de-healthifying rice cakes.
At least it’s pretty much sweats weather 🙂
As far as clothing goes I am IN LOVE with this cardigan…
It’s basically a blanket that you can wear. I am not kidding you guys. If there is one piece of cozy that you want to own this winter, this sweater is it. Mine is in midnight ombré, and it’s a lighter gray that goes to black. LOVE! It is super super soft and flowy. I wear it all the time.
Also, if we’re talking about being in love, I got the iPhone 6. Yep, I am annoying.
Also this. LOVE it. Ladies, read and reread.
And can we talk about this for a minute…I bookmarked that link back in the summer and have read and reread it. Seriously #8 y’all. NUMBER EIGHT!

Also, I am sorry universe for laughing at this, but I cantstopwontstop. OMG dying. Dude, we’ve all been there.
As for the book stuff…I am smack dab in the middle of nailing down all my recipes for the book…which means I’ve had some great successes…but also epic fails. Which have lead to this…
Yes. That is an entire cake in the trash. (Minus 2 pieces that had to be taste-tested).
I do have to say that I have had some mishaps with recipes…and throwing out a batch of cookies or brownies is one thing, but never have I experienced grief until the day that entire CAKES get tossed.
But for the most part it’s coming along.
Oh before I forget I wanted to ask you.. Pie Crust.. are you guys all butter? or part butter part shortening? I have been playing around with loads of recipes for the book and can’t decide which I like better. I like the IDEA of all butter better, but I think I like the taste of butter/shortening. Ugh. THOUGHTS?
Also loving THIS new line from Bumble for my hair…especially the primer.
It smells great, it doesn’t weigh my hair down AT ALL…and it conditions and protects before styling. I just love it.
And this lip gloss from MAC. The color is Got Style and you guys, it is THE perfect pink. I LOVE the look of a bold pink lip, but have found that on me it looks weird. Ugh. BUT this gloss, is SUCH a flattering pink that has good color but not enough that you look crazy.
I tried to take a selfie to show you, but the lighting was bad…
I promise you it’s gorg. Also, it’s not sticky like the usual MAC Lipglass..but it actually has staying power. Anyhow, I love it.
Also, these sunglasses…I am obsessed. I am THIS close to going back and getting them… will I regret?
So yeah, nothing too major is happening right now, but life is good.

Love the sweater! And I’ve already bought 3 of those candles (why!!). And I prefer butter/shortening for pie crust. Never fail and my family loves it!
I have been so back and forth with the pie crust! ONe day all butter..one day all shortening.. one day a combo. My mom used to make it with oil (!!). so yeah, I’m officially OVER pie crust 🙂
I use all Crisco in my pie crust…I get the most compliments on my pies. ..
Bath and body works candles are my weakness!! I need to go back for more of the Pumpkin Pecan Waffles one because I am OBSESSED!!
That one was my favorite last year and probably will be my favorite again!!

OMG I have that cardigan (otherwise known as a “Blardigan”), but mine is the cocoa color. BTW, do you read PTMT blog? Isn’t the cardigan the best thing ever?! I recently wore mine on an international flight and was soooo glad I had it. Did you buy yours during the Nordstrom Anniversary sale? I hope Santa brings me one in another color 🙂 I highly recommend this cardigan!!
I have that same exact sweater, it is cozy! Both butter and shortening pie crusts are great, but it seems like half butter and half shortening give you the best of both worlds…flaky and buttery tasting.
