White Trash Bars Are An Easy No Bake Dessert!

Don’t get offended. It’s just a name. I didn’t even come up with it…this recipe is one of those 1980’s recipes that all sorts of weird names. Simply enough these bars are crushed Ritz crackers with toffee bits, and sweetened condensed milk. You can cover them in frosting if you want to go that extra mile, but they’re just as good without the frosting too!

Also, he would like me to point out that he was wearing a wizard costume…just in case you were wondering about his hooded vest. Moving on…

Once you have the Ritz crushed mix them with a bag of toffee bits and pour into a greased baking pan…
Then pour a can of sweetened condensed milk on top…
You can do this right in the pan, or in a separate bowl.
Stir it all together and press evenly into the pan.
Bake it for 15-20 minutes.
Let it cool completely and then trash it up a little more with frosting.
You can eat it right away or even let it sit overnight. It’s great the next day!

How To Store These:

These are perfect kept at room temperature stored in an airtight container. You can also freeze them airtight for up to 30 days for best freshness!

Ok, I am OFFICIALLY intrigued and officially making these! How could you not? These sound amazing and I’ve never had such a thing. Gotta make this happen asap!

  2. Robyn | Add a Pinch

Okay, these just sound deee-lish-us to me. Does that make me trashy?

    Err… don’t answer that.

  3. I’ve made these and when they came out of the oven, I put some Hershey bats on top. As the chocolate melted, I spread it evenly. Let cool and enjoy.

Well, I once made a pie out of Twinkies, so I am all about the trash. I’ll take the whole pan, please.

    Haha… this post.

The wizard costume, the name, the absurdity… 🙂

I have a can of open sweetened condensed milk and I happen to have some Daim, too. Now I just need some Ritz crackers and then I can make like, an 1/8 of this. Yay!
