Baking with The Cookies and Cups Cookbook!

So it’s been 2 weeks since The Cookies & Cups Cookbook was released. I feel a little bit like the Mother of the Bride…

Baking from The Cookies & Cups Cookbook! #TheCookiesandCupsCookbook

Let me explain. In the weeks…months…years… leading up to the release of my book there has always been something to do. Whether it be edits, photos, recipe development, marketing strategies… I’ve had a plan, a to-do list, a deadline!

Now that the book available for you to hold in your hands it’s a mixture of crazy feelings!

Of course there is the relief that it’s out there in the world…a real life thing that you can all buy. But on the other side there is that, “What now?” feeling. So much of my life these past 2 years has been devoted to this book, and now instead of the anticipation of it I am filled with…do they LIKE it? Are people going to BUY it? What do I do NOW? It almost makes me want to dig a hole and bury head until next year. So like a mom, planning her daughter’s wedding…you spend so much time planning and helping and doing and then your daughter gets married and starts her life and you are there with a little bit of a lull. Did that even MAKE SENSE? My book got married?

But can I just tell you that probably my most favorite part of all this “other side” stuff is seeing YOU with the book in your hands (omg keep posting these pictures I am obsessed), reading your reviews of the book (CRAZY great, except for that one lady) AND and seeing what you’re MAKING!

Your pictures from Facebook, Instagram, Twitter… have been SO fantastic!

They have made my heart so full, I can’t even explain to you.

You friends, are outstanding.

What I also am loving is that so you are making SO many of the recipes. My goal when I wrote this book was to create a book that you would bookmark the HECK out of.

And seeing your pictures proves to me I did just that…the variety of recipes being made from The Cookies & Cups Cookbook is FANTASTIC! If everyone was only making the Salty Browned Butter Chocolate Chip Cookies, I would know that I failed you.

I want this to be your go-to for recipes you know will be a success. A book where everything looks like a “must make”.

SO KEEP THE PICTURES COMING! Keep emailing me and telling me what you’re making! Keep leaving reviews!

I truly appreciate you.

xo

  1. I’m going to make your cookies and cream cookies and was wondering if I can put the dough in the fridge overnight and bake the next morning?

  2. I just received my copy today as a birthday gift from my husband and kids! I can’t wait to dive in and start baking with my little helpers!

    1. YAY!!! Can’t wait to see what you bake first! POst a picture on my facebook wall or tag me on Instagram!

  3. So I’ve made quite a few deserts (how could I not!) but the last page… That tequila salsa goodness of a steak was amazing! I had to make 2 batches of the salsa because we ate it all while the steak was marinating! So delicious!

  4. I had pre-ordered the cookbook and have made two desserts already – the brown blondies and the cookies and cream cookies. Both places I took them, people asked for the recipe!! Of course I’ve dropped hints they should just buy the entire cookbook! I can’t wait to bake (and cook) my way through it; everything looks and sounds mouthwatering.

      1. Just made the classic brownies last night and they are AMAZING. I think I could fool my box mix friends and convert them 🙂

  5. Ordered my copy from Amazon….received on Monday. Love the recipes and the variety of recipes. I have already ordered copies to give as birthday presents in the next few months. I send you love and prayers. Keep up the wonderful work

  6. Ordered your book the first day it was available. Poured over it for days. Just one big problem. What do I make first? Do I start with the first recipe and work my way to the last? Alphabetical order? (retired librarian) Favorite flavors? No, that wouldn’t work – love most sweets.. Ask my husband? No, that wouldn’t work either. Through the book in the air and cook what ever page lands open? How about one recipe out of each chapter? Think I will just start and see where it goes. Thank you for a fabulous new cookbook. I already have way too many, but this one will be close at hand.
