Peanut Butter Cap’n Crunch Clusters Recipe
How was your weekend?
Long weekends are great, except when Tuesday comes around disguised as a Monday…
And then Tuesday morning you end up doing Monday things…
Like run around like a crazy lady trying to find my kids matching socks…
Or forgetting that it wasn’t, in fact, Monday and trying to do your kid’s school homework that is due on TUESDAY, 2 minutes before the bus comes.
Always a good time.
So my least favorite day of the week isn’t Monday…it’s Tuesday disguised as Monday. An imposter Monday. Tuesday wearing a Monday mask.
BUT one thing about imposter Monday is that it’s ok to eat cereal disguised as a dessert for breakfast.
See how I brought that around?
So here we have 2 different kinds of cereal, peanut butter, white chocolate and marshmallows.
Half breakfast food, half dessert…which equals wholly delicious.
How to Make These Peanut Butter Treats
Start with your cereals and marshmallows in a bowl.
Then gather your other ingredients…peanut butter being one.
Melt some white chocolate or candy coating over a double boiler and then mix in some peanut butter.
Then pour that all over your cereal stuff.
Mix it up evenly…
Then drop by heaping spoonful onto some wax paper.
If you don’t feel like making clusters…OR if you get bored halfway through making the clusters.
I’m not saying that happened to me, but you know…I just heard about it happening one time…you can totally press it into a pan and make squares instead of clusters.
They’re just as good…I promise.

This would definitely help me make it through the rest of my Tuesday disguised as a Monday!!
I don’t like Tuesdays masquerading as Mondays. I worked yesterday, so this is actually Tuesday for me, but a friend emailed me and asked, “Why, oh, why is it Monday?” I wrote back, and said, “It’s not. It’s just an impostor Monday.”
Anyway, I love Cap’n Crunch, and I ate it so much as a kid, the roof of my mouth was raw and I still couldn’t stop. Great recipe!
Our garbage day is on Tuesday – so these weeks totally screw me up!!! One thing that HAS to happen every week is the garbage getting out of the garage – no one wants to smell that for another week.
These sounds so fun! And I get to justify eating dessert, because it has cereal in it!
FINALLY!! A reason to buy sugary kid cereal and not feel bad about it!! :))
Hey, how do you make your collage photos? Like the two up there where you are mixing the peanut butter into the melted stuff?? Thanks! 🙂 ~peace, love, and baking, yo’!
OMG. I love this!
These are super similar to the Peanut Crunch Clusters (I’ll put a link below!) I made around Christmas time. They’re super simple and very yummy. Don’t you just love Cap’n Crunch?!

I love a 2 Saturday weekend! That PB Cap’n Crunch looks delish!
Monday Tuesdays should be outlawed. Yes outlawed…like in the old west. Cereal wins at life.
