The Perfect Valentine’s Day Dessert
So Valentines Day is coming up. We aren’t big Valentines people in our house…not that I don’t WANT Valentine’s stuff, I mean… But we have kids and in this season of our life, our Valentine’s activities generally revolve around school parties and sweet treats for them…Plus, we have a kiddo who was born on Valentine’s Day!
Of course, I am fine with it…soon enough our little ones will be all grown up, so I make sure to enjoy every moment while they’re small. There will be time enough for fancy dinners someday!
A Super Easy Strawberry Fudge Recipe
And today we’re making a Valentine’s fudge recipe that the kids can absolutely get involved in making! Only 2 ingredients needed it’s a super simple process! Strawberry Fudge!

How to Make 2 Ingredient Strawberry Fudge:
All you do is get yourself a can of Strawberry Frosting and a bag of white chocolate chips.

Melt the chips and stir in the frosting.

Spread it into a lightly greased or lined pan…
Make some pretty designs if you’re feeling fancy.

Now, if you want to get crazy, sprinkles some cute little hearts on top. I think M&Ms would be good on top too…you know, chocolate and strawberries I hear is pretty romantic.

Pop it in the fridge for a bit and then cut it into squares.
Or hearts.
Or broken hearts if you’re feeling dramatic.

* Tip ~ use a cookie cutter for easier shape making.
Isn’t it pretty?

These look amaaazing! Would love to make them for my boyfriend for V-day but in South Africa you don’t get canned frosting… Is there any alternative I can use?
Any suggestions on how to make a mint chocolate chip fudge? I’m a klutz in the kitchen! But can’t wait to try this!!
Sure! Use a mint frosting and chocolate chips! Then press some mini chips on top. It won’t be green, but it will be minty!
Apparently in Canada you can’t find strawberry frosting anywhere… Do you know of an easy way to make some or turn vanilla frosting into strawberry frosting? My kids are so excited for these for school but I’m at a loss on this one.
Looks amazing. Going to make them for my kids classes but I’m just wondering how many pieces this recipe makes?
If you cut them in squares you will get at least 25 depending on how small (or large) you cut them. they are super sweet so a little goes a long way!
I hate to be picky, but this ain’t two ingredients.
If you were using, for example, Duncan Hines Strawberry Frosting, just that would give you fifteen separate ingredients, including trans fat-laden vegetable oil shortening and behavior-altering petroleum-derived artificial colors. And of course a buttload of sugar. And that’s just the frosting; most commercial white chocolate is low-quality.
Why is anyone eating this crap? If you want to make fudge, buy some butter and cream and sugar and a thermometer and make it yourself. Otherwise don’t kid yourself that this is any kind of cooking or any kind of treat, unless you consider diabetes a treat.
Whoa there Debbie Downer, calm the fudge down.
Making fudge the “easy” or “hard” way will produce diabetes if eating in excess. They both contain sugar. It’s a great treat for those of us who don’t have a whole lot of money for extra ingredients or a whole lot of extra time for baking. Or a combination of the two.
So settle down. Have some fudge. Relax and enjoy the fact that parents still try to do nice things for their families despite not having a ton of free time. Or money. Or both.
So you gave this recipe one star just because you don’t agree with the way it’s made? Don’t call something “crap” or insult the users of this recipe just because you do things differently.
Hi!!! I just discovered your website and it is a Godsend! I would love to make this for class treats for Valentine’s Day. I am a little concerned if they will melt by the end of the school day when the teacher usually gives them out. Do you think they will hold up for about 8 hours out of the fridge?
They will absolutely unless you’re in a very hot climate!
Any idea what I did wrong? It’s greasy with pools of grease everywhere. I followed the directions. Maybe it was the food colouring I added?
Do you have a recipe for if I want to do it from scratch?
Not for strawberry fudge no.. I will have to work on that!

As they didn’t link back to you, I’m guessing they didn’t have your permission, in which case you might want to file a DMCA takedown notice.
Perfect for busy college students! Quick question though: what kind of frosting do we use, whipped or rich and creamy? Looking at Betty Crocker. Thanks so much 🙂
rich and creamy!
