- peanut butter cups
- semi-sweet chocolate chips
- butter
- creamy peanut butter
- Rice Krispie cereal
- vanilla
- kosher salt

How To Make Peanut Butter Cup Crack Brownies:
So I started with a box of Ghirardelli Double Chocolate Brownies… they are some of my favorite boxed brownies. While they were baking I chopped up some peanut butter cups and honey roasted peanuts.

When your brownie has 5 minutes left to bake pull it out of the oven and sprinkle your peanut butter cups and peanuts all over the top. The chocolate will melt and then you can use an off-set spatula to spread the chocolate evenly on top.

Set all that aside and then in a microwave safe bowl combine chocolate chips, peanut butter and butter in a bowl and melt it in the microwave until smooth. Then stir in some vanilla, salt and krispie cereal. Pour that on top of the brownies and spread evenly.

Now chill the brownies for 2 hours, until the top layer is set.

These look perfect in every way! Yum.
Um…yes.
Just yes.
I’ve made these before and they really are addicting!
These look AMAZING! Can’t wait to try them out.
I put something kind of like these in my book! I skipped the peanuts but they’re such a good blend of chewy, crunchy, gooey, chocolate, PB…pretty much covers it all. Your bars are making me hungry 🙂
I would prefer it without the peanuts. Are the peanuts necessary to hold the chopped Reeses together?
They aren’t necessary!
Could I double the recipe for a 9×13 pan?
I would increase it by 50% 🙂 If you double it, they will be super thick!
These look so crazy-delicious!! Yum!
Yep, these are like amazing! Love you added the crunch on top!
i have just seen the next best thing to peanut butter and chocolate straight from the jar right here. I can use any candy bar right? because I have a load of butterfingers I need to use.
Oooh, that would be fantastic!!
I was thinking butterfingers instead of nuts…..or heath bars….I will certainly experiment too.
Oh my gosh these would be so good with Butterfingers!
Save me from these…actually forget that, I don’t want saving 🙂
Do you put them back in the oven after you put the peanuts and candy combo on the brownies that have 5 min left to bake?
Yep, Pull them out when there is about 5 minutes left on the baking time, sprinkle the nuts and pb cups on top and place them back min the oven for 5 minutes to melt the chocolate, so you can spread it.
