The Perfect Valentine’s Day Dessert

So Valentines Day is coming up. We aren’t big Valentines people in our house…not that I don’t WANT Valentine’s stuff, I mean… But we have kids and in this season of our life, our Valentine’s activities generally  revolve  around school parties and sweet treats for them…Plus, we have a kiddo who was born on Valentine’s Day!

Of course, I am fine with it…soon enough our little ones will be all grown up, so I make sure to enjoy every moment while they’re small. There will be time enough for fancy dinners someday!

A Super Easy Strawberry Fudge Recipe

And today we’re making a Valentine’s fudge recipe that the kids can absolutely get involved in making! Only 2 ingredients needed it’s a super simple process! Strawberry Fudge!

How to Make 2 Ingredient Strawberry Fudge:

All you do is get yourself a can of Strawberry Frosting and a bag of white chocolate chips.

Melt the chips and stir in the frosting.

Spread it into a lightly greased or lined pan…

Make some pretty designs if you’re feeling fancy.

Now, if you want to get crazy, sprinkles some cute little hearts on top.  I think M&Ms would be good on top too…you know, chocolate and strawberries I hear is pretty romantic.

Pop it in the fridge for a bit and then cut it into squares.

Or hearts.

Or broken hearts if you’re feeling dramatic.

* Tip ~ use a cookie cutter for easier shape making.

Isn’t it pretty?

  1. I made this today and I can’t get my DH and DD to stop eating it. 🙂 It is suppose to be for other friends and family for Valentines Day…I guess I will need to make another batch. Thank you for sharing the recipe.

  2. So, technically speaking, I need frosting and white chocolate? So, a person might be able to use Coconut Pecan frosting (for German chocolate cake) and Baker’s Squares? Hmmm…. intriguing

  3. OMGosh! It is wonderful! I used white chips and fudge frosting – Food Lion was all out of the strawberry and vanilla. My daughter said it was a little too sweet for her … even though she took half of the pan home with her … I’m wondering how it would be with semi-sweet chips? Thanks so much for the recipe – I will continue using it!

  4. Oh, my! I’ve been to 3 stores and not one of them carries Strawberry Frosting. I was amazed. Will this work with Vanilla Confetti Frosting and the White Chips? Or will that be too much Vanilla. I even looked for Strawberry flavoring and all 3 stores didn’t have that either. Let me know your thoughts. Thanks!

    1. It would work with any combination you would like! So strange you can’t find strawberry frosting…I guess everyone’s buying pink stuff!

  5. Hi, will this not melt if left out? I would like to make it for my daughters V’day party at school. Thanks for sharing!

  6. Just wanted to tell you that we used this recipe in a children’s Valentine’s Day party class we did this weekend and it was such a hit! Really yummy and really easy! Thanks for thinking of it, you’re so creative!

    1. Hi, you didn’t have a problem w/ it melting? Did you take it right out of the fridge to the party or leave it sitting out overnight? Thanks! : )

      1. I kept it in the fridge, but it sits out nicely for a while. The white chocolate holds it together nicely. I am sure, though, on a very warm day you will need to chill it
