Homemade Brownie Batter Parfait Dessert Recipe
Sometimes you need inspiration.
And sometimes you run out.
But sometimes it can be found in a bowl with a spoon.
That brings us to “live”.
Inspiration in the form of Brownie Batter.
So I was talking to Kristan and we decided when inspiration hits, why not hit a grand slam?
Inspiration found in a bowl with a spoon, getting knocked out of the park with a baseball bat.
What?
Clearly all this talk of raw batter has made my head loony.
Back to grand slams…we decided to take some brownie batter and do it lots of ways. Like a whole week dedicated to brownie batter on my site and hers.
It’s a two-fer.
Prepare to be slammed.
So first on my BB agenda is Parfaits.
Brownie Batter Parfaits.
You’ve got batter, brownie pieces and brownie batter whipped cream…yep that’s a new invention, people.
Say it with me…Brownie Batter Whipped Creammmm.
It’s a whole-lotta brownie in one jar.
Worth every calorie.
How to Make Brownie Batter Parfaits:
Start by making some brownies. Or buying them. Either works.
Break them up into pieces…
Then you’ll need to make your Brownie Batter Whipped Cream
My friends, it’s like shazam-good. Shazaaaamity zam zam.
You’ll have to tie your hands behind your back to keep from eating it straight from the bowl. That’s not hyperbole.
All you do is pour some dry brownie mix into some heavy cream and whip away.
That’s it. Try it, I swear to ya.
THEN, make some brownie batter…but leave out those pesky eggs.
No need for them here.
Just brownie mix, oil and water…
Now assemble.
It’s as easy as schlemeel, schlemazel.
Batter, Brownie, whipped cream. Repeat.
This is some serious chocolate.
Hummina.
Brownie Batter Day 1…check.
Now, are ready for a full week of this stuff?
It’s gonna be off the chizzle.

Do you think these would freeze okay?… These look absolutely decadent! I LOVE single serving desserts.
I haven’t ever frozen these, but imagine that it would work pretty well!
Wow! Just made this for my birthday. I LOVE chocolate and I love it decadent, but this one put me over the top! Two bites and I was done. YUM.
Can I assemble these the night before or would that mess up the consistency????
I think that they would be fine the next day!
Oh dear…there goes my diet…yuuuum
Just made this last night…Wow this is to die for. My boys loved it. Will be making again and again and again!
Awesome!!
I’m making these for my parents, and my dad is on a diet. In place of the brownies, I’m going to break up Chocolate Vitatops, and instead of the brownie mix+oil, I’m going to try this “No Pudge Brownie Clone” recipe http://www.food.com/recipe/no-pudge-brownie-clone-116219 .. plus the yogurt called for in the recipe. I haven’t decided about the “brownie batter whipped cream” yet. I may use Trader Joe’s brand of frozen+thawed whipped cream and keep it vanilla, or I may try to add a little of the brownie mix to that and stir. I’ll report back for anyone interested!
Thanks for the inspiration!! and I’ll be trying the real recipe on myself and college friends in the near future 🙂
What a great adaptation!! Let me know how it works out!
I love all that you’re doing with brownie batter! I cannot wait to try these recipes!
Brownies are the best things in all the land. They’re kind of like bacon, in that they make everything better.
Most definitely worth the calories, wow wee!
These look amazing!! I’ll definitely be making them at my next “Stay in And Watch ‘Say Yes to The Dress’ Girl’s Night” 🙂
