This Easy No Bake Coconut Candy Recipe goes together in minutes and is the perfect sweet bite! If you’ve struggled with making candy in the past, this simple recipe is for you.

Candy.
It’s basically my favorite food group.
I know, it’s wrong…I have tried to change…
but basically it’s impossible.
I can’t quit it.
And you know, sometimes making your own candy at home is fun and all..but then there is the other 99% of the time that you just want to rip open that paper package and inhale all the peanut buttery cup preservatives before shoving 13 in your face.
I know, I clearly have a problem.
But what I’m here to talk about today is the other 1%.
The “make your own candy because you’re super crafty” percent.
And this coconut candy is almost as easy as ripping open a wrapper. I promise. I had my little pieces made in like 5 minutes and that ain’t no lie.

So like I said…these little candy pieces need to find a way into your life asap.
Clearly you have to enjoy coconut for these to be your jam…but one more little ditty that makes them extra special is the tiny squeeze of chocolate on top.
Last week I got this number in the mail…

Hershey’s has made the leap into the spreadable market.
Let’s let that one marinate.
I got a fun kit that included three spread flavors, and a whole lotta stuff to dip in those spreads: cookies, crackers, granola bars…a spoon…
So fun.
And while I totally jumped all over the dippable and spreadable aspect, I thought…what else can I do with this?
Let’s discuss…
How to Make This Easy Candy Recipe
These candies have literally 4 ingredients.

Start with sweetened flaked coconut.
And then some powdered sugar and melted butter…

Mix the butter and sugar together…

Then add in the coconut and mix it together.

Form it into balls. And just lightly press a little dent in the center…

That’s when this bad boy comes into play…I used the chocolate, but clearly you could use whatever you’d like.
I put a little but into a zip top bag with the corner cut off.

And done.
So done.

I am obsessed with how easy and cute these little guys are.
And I’m doubly obsessed with the new Hershey’s Spreads.

Christmas goodies with minimum fuss
I grew up seeing recipes for something like that all the time, and I had completely forgotten about it until I read this! It was called coconut ice, it did not have your chocolately addition (which I think I will be including too, mmm chocolate) and it used condensed milk instead of butter. Oh, and it was two-tone!
http://www.carnation.co.uk/recipes/70/Coconut-Ice is an example (not the exact one) and I’m wondering if I can make some gorgeous hybrid love-child between yours and that one. I wonder what the difference in taste is between making it with butter and making it with condensed milk. Maybe someone should make both and inform the masses?
Gotta love no bake desserts right?
This would be such a great Christmas project with my little niece! She loves candy.
Thank you for idea!
