This Easy No Bake Coconut Candy Recipe goes together in minutes and is the perfect sweet bite! If you’ve struggled with making candy in the past, this simple recipe is for you.
Candy.
It’s basically my favorite food group.
I know, it’s wrong…I have tried to change…
but basically it’s impossible.
I can’t quit it.
And you know, sometimes making your own candy at home is fun and all..but then there is the other 99% of the time that you just want to rip open that paper package and inhale all the peanut buttery cup preservatives before shoving 13 in your face.
I know, I clearly have a problem.
But what I’m here to talk about today is the other 1%.
The “make your own candy because you’re super crafty” percent.
And this coconut candy is almost as easy as ripping open a wrapper. I promise. I had my little pieces made in like 5 minutes and that ain’t no lie.
So like I said…these little candy pieces need to find a way into your life asap.
Clearly you have to enjoy coconut for these to be your jam…but one more little ditty that makes them extra special is the tiny squeeze of chocolate on top.
Last week I got this number in the mail…
Hershey’s has made the leap into the spreadable market.
Let’s let that one marinate.
I got a fun kit that included three spread flavors, and a whole lotta stuff to dip in those spreads: cookies, crackers, granola bars…a spoon…
So fun.
And while I totally jumped all over the dippable and spreadable aspect, I thought…what else can I do with this?
Let’s discuss…
How to Make This Easy Candy Recipe
These candies have literally 4 ingredients.
Start with sweetened flaked coconut.
And then some powdered sugar and melted butter…
Mix the butter and sugar together…
Then add in the coconut and mix it together.
Form it into balls. And just lightly press a little dent in the center…
That’s when this bad boy comes into play…I used the chocolate, but clearly you could use whatever you’d like.
I put a little but into a zip top bag with the corner cut off.
And done.
So done.
I am obsessed with how easy and cute these little guys are.
And I’m doubly obsessed with the new Hershey’s Spreads.

Can you use regular sugar
Hi, love the recipe. I made a similar recipe but it called for a The can of sweetened condensed milk. That replaced the butter and powdered sugar I can’t wait to use the spreadable chocolate. Thank you
I would divide the dough into add red food coloring to one and green to the other. I would also add mint or almond flavor. Last but not least one half of a shelled walnut or other nut on top of the chocolate.
I bake Christmas treats with my mom and I looked in the refrigerator last year and saw this bag of coconut. So, I looked up what to do with it and found this recipe. It’s now one of my favorite candys to make and eat. My family loved it as well.
happy heresy’s have come up with there own chocolate spread. I don’t like the other ones but I love hersey’s products. I hope Canada gets it too.
I enjoy your style of writing and recipes.
This one is definitely a keeper.

Oh my gosh. All I can say is thank you for this coconut candy recipe. My mother and I made one identical to this in early 80’s. I lost the recipe and this sounds exactly like it. We used kisses on top and maraschino cherries. Absolutely yummy.
Thank you so much.
oooh cherries! what a great idea!
My dad made these in the late 90s with kisses. I’ve been searching for a recipe for 10 years.
Okey, so I just stumbled upon this recipe while googelig coconut candys I do not regret it! These were easy and tastes so good!
SO glad!!
Tried these a few days ago! Delicious and easy to make!
awesome!! love hearing that!
When I was a kid my mom and I made these, but with unsweetened melted chocolate. Cuts WAY down in the sweetness, but with the coconut and powdered sugar there is enough sweet to not notice that the chocolate is unsweetened. 🙂
