Praline Cookies
These Praline Cookies are ridiculous! They are a soft brown sugar cookie topped with Warm Praline frosting that melts right into the cookie. Outrageously good!
After having just spent a few days in Charleston, SC I can say that my praline love has officially morphed into a true blue obsession. So when Imperial Sugar asked if I would make Praline Cookies I was fully on board.
These cookies are a soft brown sugar cookie topped with a warm praline mixture that literally soaks right into the cookie…
They’re now be in my go-to cookie rotation to be made time and time again. I stinkin’ love them!
So hop over to Imperial Sugar for the full recipe!!
Totally gorgeous!!
These look to die for! I know what you mean. The south deepens my affections for pralines as well!
These are so New Orleans! These will be perfect for a cajun themed luncheon. Love these and your blog.
My life will not be complete until I have these!!
I have a long-standing love of all things pecan. These are a no-brainer add to the to-bake list!
I think I’m going to have to agree with the Cookbook Queen on this one – my life absolutely won’t be completely until I’ve made these! I love pralines, which I why I limit my visits to my favorite candy/chocolate store in Savannah to once a year, otherwise I’d just look like a house, so these WILL be made ASAP!!!
This is probably a sin to ask — my dh doesn’t like pecans, do you would this work with walnuts? He is a cookie fiend and these look delicious!
Insert “think” into that question, please.
Sure, don’t see why not!
Wow I can tell how soft, chewy, moist and just perfect they are. And that frosting that seeps down? Whoa. LOVE! pinned
What an amazing idea! Love these!
These look really, really yummy!
These sound fantastic. The frosting recipe says to add vanilla and salt, but I don’t see these ingredients listed…how much of each?
Ahh yes, that’s an oversight on my part… it’s 1 tsp vanilla and 1/4 tsp salt. I will contact Imperial and have them add that in!
Praline frosting! These look unbelievable.
Being from New Orleans, I have been obsessed with praline anything since my childhood.
These are being made ASAP. Seriously, they look so divine!
In the ingredients for the flour, there is an asterisk by it. What does the asterisk mean?
Good question.. I just used all purpose flour. Not sure why they put the asterisk.
Thank you for the reply. I see Imperial added the asterisk explanation
Great!!
i can definitely devour a whole batch of these cookies right now.. they look seriously divine. love praline!
I love pralines. These cookies sound and look fabulous. Heading over to the recipe now.
Ahhh! I went to school in Charleston and love those pralines. You can almost feel the sugar hurting your teeth 🙂 Can’t wait to try these cookies!
Pralines are so delicious! I’m sure the cookie version is even better!
I love pecans period. Pralines, OMG!!! Love them too, and I agree with Bri, makes my teeth hurt thinking of them. 😉
These cookies look so delicious!
Oh love the addition of a praline topping – yummo!
I’ve never made brown sugar cookies but have been wanting to. Sounds like the perfect base for praline!
