The Perfect Valentine’s Day Dessert
So Valentines Day is coming up. We aren’t big Valentines people in our house…not that I don’t WANT Valentine’s stuff, I mean… But we have kids and in this season of our life, our Valentine’s activities generally revolve around school parties and sweet treats for them…Plus, we have a kiddo who was born on Valentine’s Day!
Of course, I am fine with it…soon enough our little ones will be all grown up, so I make sure to enjoy every moment while they’re small. There will be time enough for fancy dinners someday!
A Super Easy Strawberry Fudge Recipe
And today we’re making a Valentine’s fudge recipe that the kids can absolutely get involved in making! Only 2 ingredients needed it’s a super simple process! Strawberry Fudge!

How to Make 2 Ingredient Strawberry Fudge:
All you do is get yourself a can of Strawberry Frosting and a bag of white chocolate chips.

Melt the chips and stir in the frosting.

Spread it into a lightly greased or lined pan…
Make some pretty designs if you’re feeling fancy.

Now, if you want to get crazy, sprinkles some cute little hearts on top. I think M&Ms would be good on top too…you know, chocolate and strawberries I hear is pretty romantic.

Pop it in the fridge for a bit and then cut it into squares.
Or hearts.
Or broken hearts if you’re feeling dramatic.

* Tip ~ use a cookie cutter for easier shape making.
Isn’t it pretty?

I am a single mom with two small daughters, I don’t celebrate Valentine’s Day for obvious reasons but my girls would love this fudge! In South Africa, we don’t get canned frosting, I read in earlier comments that u have a recipe for Vanilla Buttercream Frosting so will try that with a few drops of food colouring :). Hope it works!
My youngest has a Birthday 2 days after Valentine’s Day, and we still celebrate! My Husband gets my daughter & I both flowers 🙂 Guess I’m pretty lucky 🙂 I am gonna give this a try because I am allergic to Chocolate, and always tought “Fudge” was out of the question. Ty so much for posting this! <3 <3
Oh my!I wrote my first blog post in years yesterday,so Im calling myself a newbie;) Im heading out to Asda tonight too.I wanted to give you another tip to make it even more “lazy”.You know how when you melt the chips in the micro you need to keep stopping to stir?
Well if you put your chips in something like a mason jar and pop it in a crock pot, then fill the crockpot around the jar with water (dont get water in the jar or your chocolate will sieze).Turn your crockpot on and you can get on with whatever else you need to for half an hour whilst the chocolate looks after itself.
My mind (taste buds, maybe?) immediately went – LEMON!! Can you imagine this with lemon icing?? Oooohhhhh!!! Look out baking aisle, here I come!
I’ll bet this would also be good with chocolate frosting and cherry chips!
just think if u can do the strawberry……u can also do same with the diffferent chocolates/choc chips….lemon cherry and also on some if u want to add more flavor add lemon flavoring or even strawberry flavoring my family and friends went crazy for these at christmas time
Thanks so much for sharing this recipe!! I shared it on my blog today and I hope that’s ok. Please let me know if you’d rather I take it down. I’m totally fine with that if you’d prefer! Thanks, Shelly!
Thanks so much for featuring it!!
“Or broken hearts if your feeling dramatic” haha I like that statement more than I do the recipe itself
My mom makes this and she uses all kinds of frostings and chips. She pops hers in the microwave and it comes out delicious.
i made this but it is really too sweet for my taste. is there a way to make it not so sweet?
Not really with this 2 ingredient recipe. Sorry.
