The Perfect Valentine’s Day Dessert
So Valentines Day is coming up. We aren’t big Valentines people in our house…not that I don’t WANT Valentine’s stuff, I mean… But we have kids and in this season of our life, our Valentine’s activities generally revolve around school parties and sweet treats for them…Plus, we have a kiddo who was born on Valentine’s Day!
Of course, I am fine with it…soon enough our little ones will be all grown up, so I make sure to enjoy every moment while they’re small. There will be time enough for fancy dinners someday!
A Super Easy Strawberry Fudge Recipe
And today we’re making a Valentine’s fudge recipe that the kids can absolutely get involved in making! Only 2 ingredients needed it’s a super simple process! Strawberry Fudge!

How to Make 2 Ingredient Strawberry Fudge:
All you do is get yourself a can of Strawberry Frosting and a bag of white chocolate chips.

Melt the chips and stir in the frosting.

Spread it into a lightly greased or lined pan…
Make some pretty designs if you’re feeling fancy.

Now, if you want to get crazy, sprinkles some cute little hearts on top. I think M&Ms would be good on top too…you know, chocolate and strawberries I hear is pretty romantic.

Pop it in the fridge for a bit and then cut it into squares.
Or hearts.
Or broken hearts if you’re feeling dramatic.

* Tip ~ use a cookie cutter for easier shape making.
Isn’t it pretty?

How long can you have it out until it melts?
It won’t melt unless the temperatures where you are are very warm. In normal temperatures you can have it out for a while. It will get softer, for sure, but it won’t melt.
I will try this with my granddaughters it looks so easy
I am kind of sorry for you not being able to celebrate v-day lik you want, I can imagine better places than McD… 🙂
Your recipe looks wonderful, I absolutely love the colour and structure of the hearts, so cute!
PERFECT!!!!!!! SUPER easy and SUPER fun and it was GOOD!!! Will do again and experiment with other combinations!!!
Just featured this on our facebook page “Creative and Simple”. I am in love!
These look awesome. I have a daughter with a valenties birthday as well but I make sure wife and daughter both feel like princesses
Made these tonight w/Nestle’s pb& chocolate chips and Betty Crocker triple chocolate chip frosting. Very creamy, but still quite soft, and seemed to take more than 30 minutes to set. I did line the pan w/foil, then a light spray. I’d still make it again though!
The chocolate chips take a little longer to set than the white chips, not sure why!
2 ingredients, a microwave, and 30 minutes???
My nursing home will probably name me queen after this!!
Thinking about doing these with my 3 year old and then packaging up for class valentines. We will keep them in the fridge until the morning-of vday, but how do you think these will do at room temperature for a few hours? What about when they are dropped in a bag with other cards/candies for valentine’s exchange? Thanks!!!
They’ll be fine!
