This gooey Brownie Pie recipe is a chocolate lover’s dream. Intensely chocolatey with a gooey marshmallow topping and fudge frosting. Ridiculous!
Sometimes a simple brownie won’t do.
Sometimes a pie just don’t cut it.
And sometimes you need to bake a brownie in a crust and it’s still not enough.
What’s a girl to do?
These are the predicaments I get myself into these days. A dessert not quite over the top enough.
I have it pretty good. I know.
SO let’s take that whole pie and cover it with marshmallows and fudge frosting and call it a day.
I have a friend who makes brownies this way and they are outrageously good….so why not a whole pie done the same way?
I mean, wouldn’t you like a slice or 5 of this guy? Brownie Pie on BLAST!
How to Make This Brownie Pie Recipe
The recipe is actually fairly easy…I made a pretty simple graham cracker crust…
Then I chopped up some chocolate.
The chocolate gets melted and mixed with some cocoa powder, flour and other brownie stuff and poured right into the crust.
Then bake it!
When it’s done load it up with a million marshmallows. And toast them a little. I may have over-toasted them…but I have a thing for brown mallows. So it’s up to you how tan you like yours to get.
Loosen the pie from the sides of the crust and remove from the springform pan…
Then yeah, pour frosting all over the top of it. Gah, so good.
Just a simple little pie.
And dig in to the richest most decadent dessert ever.

Let me just say that your cake stand is so cute! I love the wooden base:) My husband just walked by when I was reading your post and asked when I was going to make this… He’s all about the chocolate, like this brownie pie is. Pinned!
OMG…..Chocolate Heaven
My hips got wider just by looking at this dessert but I’m still going to make it; adding a few stemmed maraschino cherries and chopped nuts on top….Yum Yum.
Thanks 4 sharing this wonderful, rich looking dessert :}
Hi!! This looks amazing! But I was wondering, the brownie part doesn’t call for any sugar, is that because the marshmallows and frosting are so sweet? I just thought it would be kind of bland without sugar. Anyway, I will be for sure trying this! Thanks! 😉
Oh..there are 2 cups of sugar in the filling as well 🙂
Holy cow!!! Now that’s one intense chocolate pie! I am definitely in love with all that brownie and melty marshmallow…and more chocolate on top, yes, please!!!
I love that you poured frosting over the marshmallows! So many good things in this beautiful pie!
If this isn’t heaven in a pan, I don’t know what is. What a genius idea. Can’t wait to try it!
Oh this pie…can you bring one to NYC next month?? Totally in love with that cake stand, too!!
